The Secret Of Success

I’m going to tell you a little story.

It’s about a man who wanted to know the secret of success, and decided to find out from a Guru.

Now this was a wise, old sage who knew every secret of Life. He lived in
splendid isolation on a mountain-top. Our hero set out on his difficult
journey to meet this wise man.

He was determined to reach the top, and so he got over many obstacles on
his way. Fighting through thick forests, scaling huge boulders, escaping
from wild beasts, at last he clambered to the peak and lay on the
ground, gasping for breath.

A few minutes later, he sat up… and beheld the Guru seated in deep meditation.

Silently, he waited. Almost an hour later, the Guru opened his eyes and glanced at the man. He raised an inquiring eyebrow.

The man stammered, “Oh wise and all-knowing seer, I come to you in search of the secret of success.”

The Guru didn’t reply. He simply stood up and started walking down the hill.

The man followed. He found it difficult to keep pace with the old man, who
seemed to skip from one rock to the other like a mountain-goat. They
walked steadily for another hour, and he wondered if they were going
back to the foothills.

Suddenly, they came upon a clearing. In the middle was a clear lake. The waters
were still, glinting softly in the rays of a setting sun.

The Guru walked up to the edge of the lake and beckoned the man closer. With a gesture, he asked him to kneel down.

Unquestioningly, the man did as the Guru ordered.

Many times I see people get online and join a business 
opportunity and never, ever crunch the numbers of their 
companies pay plan. They don't have a clue as to what to 
do to begin earning the money they want. 

All they know is what the network marketing company 
has told them via the website, splash pages, their sponsor 
and what they have learned from a webinar they have attended.



You must know math and you must know how much you will 
earn for each person you bring into the business. 

When you determine the amount per person, now you can 
calculate your weekly or monthly income that you will earn 
when you sponsor someone into the business. 

Keep in mind it will be your short or long term goal. 
You must be realistic with your goal so it will be attainable for you. 

This is a mistake people make by setting their goals too high and 
when they don't reach it. 

They feel like they have failed. This is not the case, it's more likely 
they have set a long term goal.

Business Mentoring - A Lesson On Publicly Traded Network Marketing Companies

It is a fact that most people would say that this is good. What I am going to do is give you information and let you decide for yourself.

ONLY THE FACTS YOU NEED TO MAKE AN ACCURATE DECISION.

Fair enough, then let me get started by saying this.

Would YOU agree with me when I say this. A publicly traded company is one that has stockholders, and they hold a certain percentage of the company stock and therefore they MUST be paid because through an investment they have made by putting up their money into the company. It is written in an agreement that they will be paid a portion of the companies profits, even if the company has no profits they still have to pay their stockholders.

Now having said all of that, being that it's a network marketing company and since the distributors is their means of income. The network marketing company MUST put the stockholders first, and the distributors are really working to pay the stockholders and here's the thing. The company is not compensating the distributors fairly because the majority of the money will be going to pay the stock holders.

In a publicly traded network marketing company, that is how it goes.
This is not win win for the distributors, and any network marketing company that's publicly traded doesn't care about their distributors at all. It's all about them making money to pay their stockholders, and they will fall sooner or later because they don't understand that their distributors are an ASSET, and MUST be compensated fairly to be successful. They are lacking in experience in company management.

I know some of you may be thinking that this is not so, but when you think of all the companies that are publicly traded today, how are they fairing right now. Not so good, would YOU agree with me on this?

In network marketing if the company that you are with has NO company management experience with integrity, and NO fair compensation plan that will reward the part time distributor then they will not make it. YOU see this every where on the internet because it's evident in the many scams that are being perpetrated on the internet. But I won't go into that today because I have already. Terri Pattio - My Story And How I Became A Mentor With A Servant's Heart

Today marks 51 years since my arrival into the world, I thought it would be fitting that I tell you a little more about me and my beginning in network marketing. It was not such a good one because I lacked education, skills and training to do network marketing.

I did not have a mentor to guide me and teach me the ropes about network marketing, and here's the thing I assumed like everyone else that all I had to do was sell, sell, sell. I didn't even know I needed a mentor. So I just jumped in, and found some product(s) that I could sell to make money. So I proceeded to contact my friends, and tell my family what I was doing, and anyone I could find and show them ALL my products that they needed to buy from me, and no doubt they felt sorry for me, and just so I would get out of their house they bought something from me. I would work day and night, riding around with all kinds of products in my car trying to make money. I just wasn't adapting to working on a J.O.B. the rest of my life. I couldn't see myself doing that forever, network marketing was my ticket to the big time and BIG MONEY!

I knew this was right for me, but it wasn't working for me and I didn't know what else to do but to keep on keeping on. So I didn't give up and I kept joining different network marketing companies that I thought was going to get me the money which I needed and wanted.

It wasn't until 2007 that I started feeling like that this wasn't for me. I was just about to say "I quit" and then I received an email while on a social site from a lady that said it wasn't my fault and all I had to do was get her free e-book, read it and learn the truth. I don't mind telling you that I was skeptical about signing up for something else, but I had to get the e-book and see what it said. She said in her email that "it was not my fault and she could prove it to me." I said to myself "Yeah right." I proceeded to download it to my computer, and I didn't read it right away. A few hours later she called and asked me did I get the e-book downloaded okay? I told her "yes I did." She proceeded to tell me about free training that she could get me on. I was skeptical and really didn't pay her any mind. I told her I would read it later that day. I thanked her for calling and hung up.

Now the reason I tell you my beginning in network marketing is to let you know this, I had no belief that I could do it because of all the failure I had experienced in the past. There are so many people that feel the same way and don't have any where to turn. Sometimes in life you just need someone to believe in you, I will believe in YOU, and will help you to be successful in network marketing. If you have been struggling and failing like I was then I want you to know it is not your fault. I will give you the proof if you will take the first step like I did and change your destiny in life. It changed my life and I am glad to be a mentor with a servant's heart and a successful professional network marketer.

If they were they wouldn't be jumping from program to program telling everyone about multiple streams of income. The truth be told they can't keep up with all of the programs they are in. Yeah sure they might be making a few dollars here and there and if I were a betting person, I would win this bet because I know it's not all that much. Whatever they are making it's not what they are desiring to make. I can surely guarantee that.

Until YOU make up in your mind that YOU can't do it by yourself and you don't have too. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. YOU need a team, skills, training and education to find the right business opportunity. That's the bottom line and I can help anyone that raises their hand and say Yes, HELP ME! Social Networking Websites - Where is the Focus?

What do I mean when I say where is the focus? Most of these social networking websites are Web 2.0 marketing. 

All that means is when you see a share button on the site, every time someone likes, comments or shares your content from their site. It's a social signal and this is a good thing to do for getting your content more exposure, in the search engines and it means more traffic to their site and your content too.

Don't get me wrong, the site owners want you to interact and meet people, but on the other hand they want you to tell others so they can join the site and then guess what happens next. They're on the site owners list now and they get to send emails to everyone who joins.

These are people you have invited/referred to their site, and then they get to promote to them about some offer they are currently marketing.

Hmmm! Isn't that what you want to happen? Did a light bulb just go off? Don't get mad, it's just how it works, but the thing that sticks in my craw.

It's the social networking groups, a few of these sites want to tell you what you can talk about in your group. Some even have the audacity to remove your post if they feel like you are promoting your business. Well what the heck are they doing when they're mailing out to people that you have referred to them.

So how does internet social networking works, YOU pay a monthly fee to come to a location everyday and the whole purpose is to be able to come their and introduce yourself, start up a conversation and if you meet a lot of people, that's interested in discussing it further then you present them with your business card (a link to your website).

Example: Let's say you got about 4 or 5 people that you're talking with, and say the owner happens to pass and sees that you are passing out your business card, and he says that's not allowed and breaks up your discussion. Is that fair? What did he just do here? He stopped you from doing what you are paying him a monthly fee to do. Social networking is like a great big meeting hall, and if the owners are going to be so controlling as to tell you what you can talk about, then why bother paying them.

That's what you're paying them to do. That's why I avoid sites that you have to pay to do social networking because you're not building your list, only the site owners. I will be writing about this some more. This has really gotten my juices flowing and it's something that should be addressed. Just something that you need to think about.

You really should give this some serious thought, and if you would like to learn how to think, not what to think. I have a video to share with you, this will help you to get rid of all the negativity that gets in your mind. That’s the power of our MENTAL ATTITUDE.

It can cause us to WIN, to TRIUMPH, or to defeat ourselves.

This is very important.

It’s so easy to look to the left or look to the right and
find somebody complaining about something.

It’s so easy to join in. Misery loves company.

Don’t do it.

Don’t.

YOU weren’t born to complain. YOU my friend were born to WIN.

We make our own economy.

Work on yourself. Become valuable to others.

Become ATTRACTIVE to others.

Become a problem solver to others.

Don’t pass on a complaining, victim driven attitude to your
kids.

Pass on the SPIRIT of a HERO. A winner.

Don’t take two steps today. Take one.

Move forward 1%. Yes, just 1%.


Start speaking TRIUMPH over your life.


Say:

I am VALUABLE.

People are drawn to me.

I am TALENTED.

I like people and people like me.

Amigo, start going the extra mile for others.

Watch what happens.

Get clear on what you want.

If you’re at a job right now and you want to leave it.

3. Don't talk about anybody or listen to anybody talk about some one else. Get away from it or just meditate and tune it out.

Then in time the person you have been in a relationship with may just want to see what you do for a living and by getting to know them, you can make your decision on whether or not to present it to them based upon your relationship with them. It may turn out that your decision is not to be in business with them and just be friends. On the other hand, it could be a perfect union for both of you.

It really is very important to understand that you must make the effort to find out first.

Wouldn't life be grand if the people in the world was perfect, but it's not and you really don't want just anybody in your business.
