MLM Training - How To Make Residual Income

I will begin by letting you know that every word I am saying will be validated. In this post I will give you an explanation of why I believe that residual income is better than auto pilot income.

Before I get started, I recommend that you read my previous post titled "MLM Training - The difference between residual income and auto pilot income.

Okay I will start by saying again that auto pilot income is JUST HYPE!

Now I'm not saying that you won't make any money using these auto pilot income systems that are being promoted. It's possible that you will. Here's the catch, the product(s) owner will make a great deal more than you will. It's simple logic because they will always recommend YOU to tell others and they will pay you a commission to do it. They will give you an affiliate link and this is how it works it is what it is. It does know good for them to create a system and no one is using it but them.  This is the reason they created the system in the first place so they can get a lot of people to buy it, and they need help to promote it so this is why they give you a link and recommend that you do so because they know you want to make money and they will pay you a commission (usually 50%). What many people don't realize is, it's not residual income. Also these systems are tools and it's illegal to pay commissions on tools.

Now I will explain about residual income. What I like most about it is, you do the work one time and get paid over and over and over again. When it is done correctly, YOU will get paid every week, bi-weekly or monthly. Learning to earn residual income is a lot easier then promoting different products and services to make a fast buck, you will never be able to retire doing this. You MUST have repeat customers that buy from you every month, this is how you create your residual income.

Residual income is the only way to go, because it means financial freedom and you can retire one day.

It means that you can do all those things that a job won't let you do. You're the boss and can work your own schedule because you know that you have money coming in when you take time off  from your business. When you learn how to find a business opportunity that will compensate you fairly for your efforts, get the skills and training you need then you will be on your way to having peace and happiness in your life.

HOW TO MAKE RESIDUAL INCOME

I will say this much, it is a process and when you FOCUS on the reward (which is earning your residual income) then it will be easier for you to reach your goals and make money online.

Residual Income - For The Love Of Money

Just how far will people go to make money online?

A very long way especially if they have a strong desire to do so. As a MLM Mentor, I can only relate what I have seen people promoting on the internet. With all the scams that's out now, and with the economy the way it is people are searching for ways to make extra money. Most people turn to the internet and what do they find "Scams and Hype." 

It's the lure of easy money that entraps people, the people who are perpetrating these scams toys with people's emotional state of mind and convince them with all the hype that their business opportunity can make them thousands of dollars in no time flat.

This is not the case at all, it takes time to make money online. YOU can't make $10,000 in 30 or 60 days. These scams on the internet are so elaborate that people believe in them, and decide to get involved not realizing that this will lead them down the wrong path. This is not the path to success, and in a few months they soon find out and have moved on to the next so called business that they find.

I have a little story I would like to share with you about how people get caught up so deep into the hype of these programs, and then they believe the lies so they are actually setting themselves up for failure by making plans to have residual income and the worst part is they get their friends involved in what they are doing and they don't know that it's not going to work for them or their friends. The only thing that could happen, they might lose the respect of their friends and maybe their friendship as well especially if they lost their money. 

 This is a story that is clearly an example of what happens when you don't possess the skills to find the right business opportunity, and the result is not good at all. In fact it could be very devastating for some people.

A man named Rick, and he is a good person, treated people right and everything. The only thing that Rick had a problem with was his paycheck each week. It wasn't enough to make ends meet. So after a long time of thinking it over and over in his mind, he finally decided that he had to do something differently. He decided that it was time to take action and make a change.

This was a very big decision for  him to make, he decided to set out searching on the internet. He believed and figured that he could find a good business opportunity that would finally get him ahead in the game. He looked and looked and finally he came across something that appeared to be what he was looking for.  After carefully going over all the information on the website he decided to move forward and invest his money ( which was $50 to get started). He signed up and the one thing he didn't realize was that he needed skills and training to know how to evaluate a business opportunity. He tried reading his policies and procedures and had a hard time understanding the jargon they were using, so he decided to trust what he saw on their website without reading the policies and procedures all the way through. By not reading all of the P&P's completely he didn't know if the company has integrity or how will the company help him to grow his  business. This is very important to know before you join. 

Rick didn't realize that he would have to pay $50 every month, and he didn't evaluate his compensation plan to determine the amount of money he desired to make in his business every week. Also anything that he did must be duplicable for others who would join him. All the company told him to do was drive traffic to the website and advertise everyday.

Rick proceeded to work very hard at getting people to the website. He told everyone about his new business opportunity. He did pretty good at marketing and talking with people. He had a lot of friends that were interested in making money online. In one week Rick had managed to get 5 people to join and he tried to calculate his weekly check and couldn't really understand the percentages, he thought it would be a great amount based on what he had done so far and the one thing he didn't realize is that he would not get any of it yet. After checking his business account and seeing what was there, he made a call to the company and Rick learned that he would have to wait until he reached a minimum amount before he can get access to it.

MLM Success - Drive, Determination, Dedication And Passion!

Let me begin by saying this to you, if your only reason for being in network marketing is to make money then I will have to say that your chance of long term success and having residual income is slim and none.

The reason why I say this, is because of you having a money agenda.

Having a money agenda will not attract people to you, in fact it will do just the opposite. They will feel and know that is the only reason you want them in your business. They will know that you don't care about them at all. So that right there will kill it for you.

GET RID OF YOUR MONEY AGENDA!

It's sad but true, many people do not realize this. This is where they lose out, and this is one reason why people fail miserably, get frustrated and end of quitting their business.

That's where your burning desire comes in, because it is a requirement for you to be determined to succeed and YOU won't quit and in turn this will drive you take action every day. This is the slight edge in action, and it calls for persistent daily action.

Now comes dedication and this plays a big part when your drive, determination and burning desire are in place. This is a major obstacle for some because so many people have a lack mentality and what this means is, they are working on a job that is not going to allow them to retire and have financial freedom. In addition they can't meet all their monthly obligations. YOU got to realize that the economy is on a downward spiral and it's a fact that things don't look great right now.

So people are turning to the internet and looking for ways to make money online, and here's where it gets all messed up. They don't have the skills and training to know if a business opportunity is a scam or not. So they end up getting into the wrong business, and then they wind up not making any money, and then they meet someone that tells them they have to join another business so that way they will have multiple streams of income. What a bunch of BS.

Residual Income - Not Multiple Streams Of Outgo (Income)

Now one more thing that must be in place is to be passionate about what you are doing. Your passion must be, first and foremost to help people and the only way to do that is by getting rid of All the negativity that surrounds you so that you can get clarity, and by doing this you will be able to FOCUS and concentrate your efforts on building a relationship first and getting to know people, so YOU will know what they need. This is so very important and I see so many people making a huge mistake because they have a money agenda, and they are just spinning their wheels and this much I know just as sure as my name is Terri Pattio. They will be starting all over again in a new business and this is where the problem will arise because now they have no credibility. There reputation and trust is gone and they will continue on in this cycle until they finally get it. Now they are ready to ask for help. Here's a big tip that I will share with you.

Network marketing is a relationship business, not a sales business!

Say that over and over, again and again, let it sink in.

FREE MLM Training - Do YOU Know What's In Your Policies And Procedures?

Your policies and procedures (also known as Terms and Conditions) is your contract with the company. Unfortunately many people join network marketing companies and don't read them.

Why? It's because so many people want to make money online and when a company has some fancy hyped up website that's geared to lure a person into joining their business opportunity and then they sign up and don't read them or the company may not provide it to them to read.

These companies don't want YOU to see them because they probably have some things in there that they don't want anyone to see. I refer to them as GOTCHAS.

Today I will share with you a few GOTCHAS that will stop you from making money online.

1. The termination clause is very important and if you find it in your policies and procedures, you can be sure that this is not the company you want to join, and if it's in there you can be sure they will use it if they need to.

Example of the wording of this clause:
A member can be terminated for violations to the terms and conditions or any other policies.
Note at the end of the clause above where it says "or any other policies." What it means is, if they want to add something into the policies and procedures so they can terminate you, this is legal and they can do this. It is stated in the contract, and you should know this if you have built a huge team of people in this company and if the should get in a bind for money and you have a BIG check coming from them they can easily terminate you and therefore they have stolen your check. It happens all the time to people and these companies get away with it when they stick this clause in the policies and procedures.

This is the first clause you MUST LOOK FOR. It is very important to the success of building your business and having residual income.

2. This next clause is one you MUST make sure it is not there. It's call the
COMPANY CAN SUE YOU clause.

An example of the wording:
(company name) may seek any applicable remedy in any appropriate forum with respect to disputes and any money owed to (company name). In addition to monetary damages, (company name) may obtain injunctive relief in any appropriate jurisdiction against any individual for any violations(s) of (company name) terms and conditions and violations or misuse of them and all governing documents of (company name).

Pay particular attention to the second sentence above. This is the where it is saying they may sue you if a dispute should come up or if the company says that you owe them money, and you say that's not so, and then in the second paragraph where it says "in addition to monetary damages,(company name) may obtain injunctive (a court order) relief in any appropriate jurisdiction against any individual for any violations(s) etc...." and then one more thing I want to point out to you at the end of this sentence where it says "all governing documents of (company name)".

That one is really powerful and you have to really understand what it means, and I will elaborate further. It means that if they have added any new clauses in the polices and procedures and they didn't notify you of the changes they can do that and they can use it in a court of law and you will end of losing in court because of this clause that they may have stuck in there before appearing in court.

Are YOU understanding now? If you see these two GOTCHAS in your policies and procedures, then you better run the other way quickly. This is not the company to join, it means they DO NOT have your best interest at heart and they don't have integrity at all.

FREE MLM Training - An Explanation Of A Pre-Launch Business!

Today I will be educating you about a pre-launch business opportunities. This is information that you MUST READ in order for you to be successful in making money online.

In this post I will give you an illustration of a pre-launch from a traditional business position. Picture this, when you decide to start a business there are certain things you must do before it actually happens. The first thing is capital(money), then you would have to find a location for this business and from the beginning you should know how you are going to market your business (getting people to check you out). Okay having said all of that, let's talk about the marketing phase of it, assuming that you have the capital you need to move on to the next step. You are to decide when you want to open for business. So now you have set the date, this is your grand opening. There is a whole lot of preparation that has to take place before the grand opening. Are you following me so far? PREPARATION! Now let's get back to the internet and think about this, it's the same thing when you see all these pre-launch businesses popping up everywhere and they get people to join them and they're telling everybody to get locked in for the grand opening (pre-launch) of my new business.

What are doing? They are making sure that they will have someone at their business on that day. They want potential prospects so they can make money, but here's the difference between a traditional and internet business. In a traditional business, they have overhead expenses which can be costly, advertising and marketing is one expense and many others too.

In a traditional business you have to make sure that you have a constant stream of customers, and it's the same with an internet business. Now here's the difference with the internet, you get people's name and email address and build your list, it's those people that opted in for their new business and even though the new business went up in smoke on opening day, they have got a list of potential customers that they can send an email about their next business opportunity. It's a never ending cycle and did you make any money. Nope not at all.

What happened? They got your contact information and can email you or sell there list they just created and make a very good profit. Why? It's because people don't take the time to check out these companies that are in pre-launch. These so called businesses will promise you that you will make $10,000 in 30 days. It's an EASY LURE so don't fall for it. Check out the management team and see if they are qualified to run a business.

YOU MUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK SO YOU DON'T KEEP SPINNING YOUR WHEELS AND MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

A pre-launch is simply a new business and they want to get as many people to sign up and get on their list. There are many people that believe that if you get in early, or at the beginning of a new business that you are in the best possible position for success. Oh really then why is it, every new business opportunity that comes out, after the day of their pre-launch, you don't hear anymore about that business. It's because it was built on hype. "Get in now, get locked in now, or one of my favorites get in and have spillover." Oh my goodness don't fall the spillover myth, you're just targeting a bunch of lazy people that want something for nothing. If you have been to my blog before then you already know about spillover. If not you can read about it now.

Pre-launches is NO good at all, and people should realize this. You want to get in a company that has been in business for at least two years or more, and after that time they have gotten things pretty much in order and there is no need to be making a whole lot of changes and there is no need to be messing with the compensation plan so you won't get paid.

Residual Income - Not Multiple Streams Of Outgo (Income)

I just don't know why so many people are so willing to believe in multiple streams of income.

Michael Dlouhy says it this way in his free e-book "Success in 10 Steps." and I quote:

"When you promote a smorgasboard of opportunities, you undermine your network. When you try to appeal to everybody with your multiple streams of products & services, smart people will not take you seriously. And why should they? You have no identity in their mind.

Result?

NO TRUST. NO LOYALTY. NO NETWORK. YOUR PEOPLE ARE EASY TARGETS FOR SOME NARROWLY FOCUSED NETWORKER."

All you're doing is wasting time and money searching for opportunities to create multiple streams of income. All you're doing is losing your focus and eventually your power will be gone from you.

What does that mean for you? You're weak instead of being strong. All those products and service that you are promoting, you don't know anything about any of them. Am I getting my point across to you? I sure hope so because I don't want you to go through all of that.

It doesn't have to be that way at all. Make it easier on yourself by getting focused, taking the time to learn how to find the right business opportunity, getting the skills and training you need so that you can make money online and have residual income to retire and have freedom, peace of mind forever.

MLM Compensation Plans - Find The Right One That Will Work For YOU Not Against YOU!

Here's what I want to point out to you, there are some compensation plans that will require you to sponsor, sponsor, sponsor constantly. Think about this, can YOU ever retire? NO!

There are some people that can do that and don't mind doing it. It's there personality and they love it. That's just who they are, but can anyone else do it? So how can that work for everybody and be a win-win for all. It's not.

A compensation plan like that wouldn't work for someone who wants to build their network marketing business and wants to retire one day, it's not possible. When the sponsoring stops, the income stops, you get where I'm coming from? I am really trying to drive this point home to you. It's so clear and why would anybody in there right mind want to be in this kind of pay plan where you got to keep sponsoring to get paid? Only a small few will like such a pay plan.

Now moving on to another subject I want to speak about before I conclude my post. I know that you have probably heard the phrase "Multiple Streams Of Income" and you might or might know what this really means. Let me explain it like this.

I have seen people promoting and marketing to their friends on the social sites, to join them in their new program, and why is it that I see these same people that were pushing one program one day and the next day it's another one? Does that mean they are making residual income? A resounding NO! Multiple streams of income is baloney, who came up with this nonsense. That's all it is, because all you are doing is spending more and more money. Is there any income coming in? I seriously doubt it. Think about this, when they tell you it's free to join and you will make BIG MONEY. Do YOU believe that? I hope that you are smarter than that. How can you make money if everyone is joining for free. Not logical isn't it? Exactly my point, don't fall for it. They are lying and it's likely a SCAM!

When I hear someone talk about multiple streams of income, I know that they are 1) not educated and don't know better and 2) someone has lied to them and got them in so they can make money off them. Now the person who signed them up will move on and find another sucker who will believe there lies and it's just a bad never ending cycle.

Now that person is left feeling that they can't make money online and will believe that the internet is just full of scams. Yes this is how it works. There is something you can do to stop this from happening to you, and that is to get EDUCATED so you know how to find the right network marketing company that will give you the residual income you desire.
Build it once, build it right and build a massive income that will continue to come in forever.

It's all about FREEDOM! Having the lifestyle that will bring you happiness and peace.

Network Marketing Is Your ONLY Hope For Residual Income. Why Do I Say That?

It's a fact that many people are on the internet searching for ways to make money online, so they can quit their JOB. They already know that they don't want to be working on that nine to five, and in debt for the rest of their lives. I know this to be very true because once upon a time I was unfocused, scattered everywhere and had all kinds of chatter going on inside my mind.

Let me tell you, it made me crazy and I didn't know whether I was coming or going because I had a lot of negative influences that was surrounding me. Here's what I can tell you, until you are willing to accept what I am saying is true, then you will continue to be stagnating and not going anywhere. Now I am focused, organized and a mentor with a servant's heart with no agenda, my goal is help you to be successful and have a happy life with the education and training I can give to you so that you will have everything you desire. After all, that's the way it is supposed to be anyway, but due to circumstances beyond our control such as the economy, and negativity that gets in your mind each and everyday by the people you come in contact with, the news which is constantly broadcasting negativity to you, there's no room for the good and positive thoughts that you want to enter in your mind. That's why so many people are not happy with their life.

Home Business Training - You're DOOMED To Fail Without It!

Residual Income is what YOU want, and that's the bottom line. If you think that this will happen without proper training and education, you're dead wrong. Multiple Streams of Income - Mind Blowing Decisions

This is something I see all over the internet. People are signing up for everything they see, believing they will make money online. You got to know that most of what's out now is for the most part a scam. How do I know that?

It's logical when you just take the time and think. There's no such thing as getting something for nothing. They tell you when you join with them they will build your down line for you. Come on you're not buying that crap. Another one that's being used a lot is they tell you about the spillover that will happen if you tell everyone to join in under you. All you got is a bunch of people sitting around waiting on the spillover that was promised to them. It's all B.S!!! Everything that's being put out on the internet is telling people that you don't have to do anything to make money. Not so!

You get hooked in by that. It's the bait to get you to sign up. They use that as a lure to reel you in. You have just been caught in their net when you sign up.

There is something you can do. Make a decision to forget about multiple streams of income. You heard me.

I know what you're thinking, what should I do? Make a decision to focus on having residual income!

Social Networking Websites - It's all about relationships, and that's the bottom line!

Now back to using the social networking websites, you can have a personal relationship, or it could be a business relationship. If your main focus is having a business relationship, then you should work on developing it correctly. But here's the point that I want to make clear to you, having a business relationship only can have a downside. If your relationships is business only, then you have to realize that at some point you may eventually be competing against one another.

Don't get me wrong, you do need to have these business contacts, but you still need to have some kind of a personal relationship with them. So that you will know more about them personally, the benefits of getting to know someone personally and on a business level can be very beneficial, and rewarding. With social networking, you can have a 1,000 business contacts, but can you talk with all of them at one time. Of course not, you would still have to make contact with these people and interact with them and learn more about their business. So you see there still has to be interaction, because it still has to be developed first. It is a MUST that you develop your personal and business contacts.

Because you want ALL of your contacts to have the best possible impression of you. So that's why it's worth the effort to use social networking sites correctly, and it's so very important to learn this skill. You will be rewarded with, not only a successful business but relationships that will last forever (personal and business).

But the thing I want to stress here is this, when I see social networking websites place the focus on making money and paying people for referring others, and then you see people everywhere promoting for them. Some people will even tell you that this is the easiest home business, it just blows my mind of how uneducated people really are about this. They are not even thinking about this, they just sign up and start telling others about it. They have no interest in developing a relationship, only to get them in so they can make a few dollars.

In reality it takes quite a bit of people to make a decent check, and they don't even know if they are going to get paid. How's that for an eye-opener? Something to think about? YOU bet it is! Yet most people don't think about this, I have seen this and all I could think is, they are just wasting their time. They probably won't get paid, and they are building their list for them, and all these site owners do is send promotional emails to people that join.

They make all the money and you end up waiting to be paid, and probably never will get any money from them. So many people move on to something else to promote, or they get frustrated and quit. It's really ashamed of what's happening to social networking, and I really don't know if it will stop, because there's a lot of people that are looking to make money, and that's how they get people to join.
