Internet Marketing - Stop Puking On Your Prospects

It doesn't look good when you do.

People will not have any respect for you.

It's because you have a money agenda and people will know this when you pitch on them and don't take the time to get to know them first.

What will happen to you?

You will get labeled as a spammer and this will ruin your reputation.

Surely this is not what you want to do for your business.

When you jump on your prospect and begin to tell them about your business opportunity without knowing them, this is a big TURNOFF!

Oh no!

What are you going to do?

This calls for some serious revamping and changing your way of doing things online.

Don't do what other folks on Facebook are doing, they setup a profile and then proceed to join as many groups as they can. Next they begin posting their links in all the Facebook groups that they joined. Never attempting to make a connection with members in the group.

When posting in Facebook groups, instead of posting and running. You should attempt to make a connection by saying hello to someone that is in the group. A simple comment on their post will do, and this is the beginning of interaction because they will get a notification that a comment was made on their post. Now the only thing about this is many people don't even bother to check their notifications located in the top left corner of your profile. However if they are online then it will appear in the lower left corner and they will see it pop up and they should respond by posting a comment.

This works for me and there is one more thing I should tell you about this. When choosing which post to comment on, you should watch for the ones that are using the Hootsuite app. I don't comment on those because they are posted at various times that has been preset and this means that they are not on Facebook or online. Most of the people that use Hootsuite make post like "Inbox me" for info and they believe and expect people will to contact them. The only ones who will contact them will be those wanting to pitch on them about their business opportunity.

This just doesn't work on Facebook. There has to be a connection and  it is up to you to do that so that you will learn more about the people in the group. People just don't get it, pitching your business to someone you don't even know is ludicrous and not smart for business. All it leads to is frustrations and failure, this will lead to you quitting. I see this everyday on Facebook and the people that are doing this don't have a clue. It's time to do something different. YOU can start by making a connection with people and the Facebook groups will work very well for you.

I produced a video on creating and using Facebook groups successfully. I will share it with you at the end of this post. All my groups are successful and have grown over time. You get to meet people and learn more about them by connecting to see if they are a fit for your business before presenting to them.

RELATIONSHIPS IS THE KEY!

I say this all the time to people, when you take the time to get to know people first then this is the best thing you can do for your business.

This is very important to keep in mind. Be different don't do what other people are doing on Facebook. You will stick out like a sore thumb on Facebook in a good way. People will be attracted to you and this is what you want. It will allow you to connect with people because they will be attracted to you and this is the beginning of building a relationship. Word of caution when you get friend request, be sure to check their profile to learn more about them and see what is on there profile. If you find a profile with no picture and nothing posted, this is usually a red flag to me. If they haven't taken the time to put a profile picture up or any information to know who they are. You don't know who you are dealing with. Think about this very carefully before you confirm them as a friend.

People get on Facebook and start sending friend request to people they don't know and they end up getting blocked by Facebook, it is allowed for someone to send 20 or 30 friend request but Facebook doesn't want you to wear it our. They will warn you and stop you if you continue to do it. This is not the kind of behavior they want on their site. Besides most of these people who you send a friend request to will not confirm you. It takes time to build your friend list on Facebook and this is where groups can help you, when it's done the right way. Using the information I shared with you above is a great start and will benefit you greatly and you won't be wasting time or energy.

It has worked great for me and has allowed me to start my own networking site for bloggers and article writers. You are welcome to check it out and join for free. One thing I will say here, please don't join if you expect to post your business links only. My reason for starting the site is for blog and content syndication, backlinks, SEO and branding your name online.  When you decide to join, you will be getting free organic traffic from the search engines to your blog and articles that you share. Blogging is a great way for people to learn more about you and your business.

You can learn more about my site by clicking here >>> Syndication Express

Now I will end by saying that I hope that this post has been helpful and if you found great value from it, please pass it along by sharing it to the various social sites and share your thoughts below. Please leave your comments below, and I wish you all the best with your online business.

Marketing Automation Tools - Can Be Harmful If You Over Do It!

With technology being what it is today, new software is coming out each and everyday. Programmers write programs that will make things easier for you. This is a good thing when used in moderation, and it cannot be misused or abused.

What I want to speak about today is web automation tools. There are plenty of them on the internet these days. All a person has to do is go to Google and do a search for what they are looking for and they are sure to find it. It's nothing wrong with that, the thing that sticks in my craw the most is when someone takes automated tools and goes overboard with it by using it in the social sites, not knowing that this will take them down very fast.

For what? Just to show how smart you were. Greed and Ego. Not thinking of the consequences of your actions will hurt your reputation when all is said and done. If it's numbers you are looking at, a lot good it will do you if you're using this on social sites such as Google, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. These sites don't like this at all, and they have programs that will catch any abnormal activity. The point of social networking is for you to go to the site on a consistent basis, interact and get to know people. Having friends and relationships is what it's all about. If you're in business then this will work out very good for you. Let's face it, if you're using automated tools and not doing any social networking then any success you are having will be temporary.

Let's take Facebook for example this is a social site and they do expect you to log in on a regular basis. If you never log in but they see post from you that's coming from a software automation tool every 5 minutes or less then you can bet they will shut you down quick fast and in a hurry. No more Facebook account and there is plenty more that can happen to you in the search engines.

Since Facebook is a major social site, Google will get involved and this means your website ranking and indexing will probably be gone. Google will probably bury you so far in the search engines, and this means NO TRAFFIC FOR YOU!

Why?

Since Facebook terminated your account, everything will be lost and any links you had posted in Facebook will be gone.

On Facebook when someone likes, comments or shares something you post, this sends a signal to the search engines and it allow you to get indexing and ranking too. Also since Facebook is an authority site, this tells the search engines that your website link is worth indexing and ranking in the search engines.
This is pretty much how it works on Twitter too. When someone retweets or clicks on your links in Twitter this sends a signal to the search engines. You definitely don't want these sites to terminate your accounts because of overuse of automated tools.  It's not being social and the only interaction that is going on is between computers.

Google, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin don't like this kind of activity going on. Using marketing automation tools must be done in a way that looks natural and it should not stop you from visiting the sites on a regular basis and interacting.

Over doing it can be harmful if you do!

Social Networking Websites - Who's Really Number One?

Many people might say that it's Facebook, and then there are some who will say it's Google. Truth be told, in my opinion I don't really care at all about it. They all have one thing in common, they all want you on their site. That's what it's all about. In actuality you can do what you want on anyone of them any given day. It all amounts to how you are using them, so that they will give you the desired results. Where Google and Facebook are concerned, it's all about profits. Each one wants you to get advertising with them, and in return you will get a ton of targeted leads. That's partly true, and the reason why I say this is, because being in the social networking environment involves being social. Getting to know people, and they getting to know you.

I have been using the social networking websites for about three and a half years, and the success I am having is mainly because of interaction with people. There's no way around this, you just can't post a link and think that's it. Interaction is the key and you can do this on Google, Facebook, Twitter and many other social sites that are on the internet.

So the point is, it doesn't matter to you, who is number one. The only thing that matters is, how are you making good use of the social networking websites?

I would like to share with you a site that is not competing with Google, Facebook or Twitter. This site is working for you to get exposure for your business, and branding YOU on the internet. Also you are getting traffic from every possible place on the internet. I believe this site to be unique because it is for business owners like you and me.

While I'm writing this post for you, I am getting search engine indexing, targeted leads and traffic for FREE. Yes, that is correct and true. It's 100% free and this will never change, because we are all like-minded professional business people.

The purpose of this site is to brand your name on the internet using sites like Google, Facebook, Twitter and many other social sites. When you are on the other sites, who are you branding? Most likely it is not YOU! If you're not branding you, then your success will not happen. You got to get your name out there and be active in all the social networking websites, and you can do this at the site I will be sharing with you.

As to who's number one, it doesn't really matter. I say just as long as you are interacting with people and getting to know someone, this is what you need to be successful in your business. Relationships is KEY!

RECOMMENDED: Start branding you now!

Social Networking Websites- Stop building the site owners list, you'll never have residual income by doing that.

This is the finale of what started out as one single post about social networking websites. But I had to keep going because I just felt like I had to get this out of my mind and I wanted you, my loyal readers to read this. It's been just about two weeks of steady working on this. I have to say I believe this is a worth while subject to be writing about.

I believe that it will leave you with some ah ha moments, and I want you to just really think about everything that I have said. Now if this is your first time here, then you should definitely read Parts 1,2, and 3 before reading the finale. Just click here now.

I firmly believe that when you join social networking websites that your focus should be on, getting to know someone first. The only way to do that is, by checking out their profiles and finding some things that you have in common. As I said in my previous posts, these new site owners have made it all about business. They want people to refer others to join their site and pay them a commission. Most people do that and they think they are going to make BIG MONEY doing that. Little do they know, they're just spinning their wheels.

The thing that gets me about all of this is, they are trying to turn social networking into a business. It's not a business. Who will win? Only the site owners because they have built a list and you don't have a list, and you probably didn't get paid anything either. That's why I am speaking out about this because it is very important to get the word out about this. Everyone should speak out and tell the site owners to stop doing this, they make you believe that referring others will help you. That's a BIG FAT LIE. The only reason they want you to refer anyone is to add them to their list.

Look at it this way, if you refer 50 of your friends. Just say one-third decide to upgrade, okay that's about 17 people and if you're a free member and the site owner says they will pay you 10% per referrer. YOU just made a $1.70. That's not much, when you do the math. But look what has happened for the site owners. All of your 50 friends you just referred goes to their mailing list and they get to email and pitch them on what ever offer they are promoting. YOU see what I'm getting at now, where's your list? You are doing all the work promoting their site and you are not being compensated fairly at all. There list is growing and well, yours is not.

Plus you have to wait to get paid if you ever do. That's not the way social networking is supposed to be. The name "Social Networking" is self explanatory, and it's quite plain and very simple. I have a video that I want to share with you by Perry Belcher. He gives a great illustration of social networking. Please take time to look at it now.

Wasn't that a great video? I know you are having an ah ha moment, then you need to tweet this on Twitter and like this on Facebook and share this post with everyone YOU KNOW and stop this type of behavior. It's all wrong and it's not WIN-WIN for all parties involved. This is just happening to much and I can't take it anymore. Are you in with me?

I need everyone to support me, and together we can STOP site owners from doing this to social networking. Let's keep it real and make it about getting to know, like and trust someone first. Thank you for taking the time to read what I consider to be very important. This should not be taken lightly, let's do something about it now before it's too late.

Don't forget to TWEET, LIKE and SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

May God bless you and let's keep social networking websites real. No time like the present. DO IT TODAY AND DO IT NOW!

Social networking Websites - Why Upgrade And Is It Really A Benefit To YOU?

I will begin by saying this first, if you haven't read part one of my post you should do it now. Just click here and read it now.

Moving right along to what I will be uncovering right now. This will be very informative for you and something for you to consider when using these social sites.

I can't believe what I'm seeing these days, social networking has really changed and it has changed so much that they're even trying to make it like a home business. What a bunch of BS they're shooting up your you know what. The idea that you have to pay to socialize is totally uncool. Some social sites that are free, they tell you that they will pay you a percentage of the profits from advertising.

But there's a catch, you have to refer people to their site. But get this, the amount they are paying is so small (usually about ten cents to fifty cents) that it won't amount to much any way. If you're looking to make an extra $100 a month, at the rate of 50 cents per referral, you need to refer 200 people to join and they probably have to refer others or upgrade for you to collect anything. They're certainly not going to pay you when they're not making any money. You do have to work for it! So they have turned this into a job for you, so where is the social networking? Plus you're not getting to know any one because you're so busy trying to get people to join so you can get paid. Hmmm!!!

So who do you think is getting the most benefit from this sort of activity, the site owner, that's who. You're doing all the work and it's not going to bring you any residual income either. So my point is this, why bother because it is the wrong business model, all you are doing is building their list for them and you're telling every one you know to join and do the same thing you are doing.

Does this seem fair? Heck no, it's all wrong and it's not a home business either. But still this is all I see, these so called free social networking sites that say they're free. This is where thinking is required by you. How can they pay you if there's no money involved? There's got to be revenue coming in, if not then they will be shutting down the site.

Take for example Google, if they didn't have people using their search engine who would see all those sponsored ads and what would happen to PPC ads, there wouldn't be NO Google. Even Facebook, what about those ads you see on the side when you log in, that's their revenue from social network advertising. Let's face it, Facebook is probably the most popular social networking website and more than likely they will remain that way for a very long time.

I don't see any of this changing for them, they're just growing everyday. So for all these other social sites that try to persuade people to join by saying that they will pay you. It's all baloney, and it will never work for a business. For any business to work, it has to have all five pillars. This is not up for debate, and that's just the way it is. For those that are interested in knowing what are the FIVE PILLARS for a successful business, I recommend you get the following resource at the end of this post and become educated about them.

My post is just my opinion, and it's what I'm seeing everyday on the internet, and really to me it is giving social networking a bad name. Social networking websites are for one reason, and that is to meet people and gradually over time get to know someone, and build on it. It's all about trust and honesty, having integrity and when you've got all of that, it makes for a great relationship forever. But when you factor money into it, then all of that changes, it's all about making money. So many people have an agenda and people can feel that.

That's why I believe that getting paid for referring people will never work, the social site owners that do it, just want to turn it into a business and make money. That's just the fact and when you think about this, and realize that there is something you can do. Just keep social networking the way it was intended without all the upgrades, forget about the benefits, because all you are doing is giving your money to the site owners and building their list and they in turn will just promote to the people you have referred to them. It's not a WIN-WIN for all parties involved.

The success for social sites like these is only temporary, because people will find another social site and run there, and tell all their friends to join them in there too. No one will be making any money, and everyone has an agenda because it's so much competing going on. NO one is bothering to get to know each other, just sign up with me and make money! What a waste of time, and my last point is that you will end up thinking that you can't make money on the internet. You can win and I can prove it to you, YOU just need the proper education and training. Get the resource at the bottom of the page for FREE!

YOU owe it to your family to move in the direction of your dream. That is possible when you get what you need.

Would Twitter charge for friends?

WOW! This is a hot ticket item for all you Twitter lovers.

How can they?

Would they?

That is the question. I've got the juicy details, thanks to WebProNews.

I consider this very important news because there are over a million active members on Twitter. Would Twitter lose a lot of members, or will the members remain. I suppose it depends on if they're there for business or pleasure. If the majority of members are there for business, it could have a major impact. On the other hand if the majority are just there to communicate with other members.

They would just go somewhere else like MySpace, Facebook or some of the other social networking sites that are FREE. Is this a good move, if Twitter should do this.

Now that I've said my bit about it. I am going to let you read what Webpronews had to say, and while you are here. You can peruse my blog and see that I have some very powerful information for you that will greatly increase your chance for success, if you want to know how to make money online. Take a few minutes to look at what I highly recommend for you to be a success in your home business.

Read all about it here!

If this was useful, say so and let me know, leave me your comments and thoughts.
That's it for now and I hope that you have a very happy day on this Martin Luther King Holiday.
